Diane K. Diehn, NMD
Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine
Dr. Diane K. Diehn, N.M.D., is the Founder, Chief
Executive Officer, and Medical Director of Integrative Medical Specialists,
LLC., in Overland Park, Kansas, where she also practices as a
Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine. Dr. Diehn is trained in traditional
Western Medicine, Oriental Medicine and Acupuncture, Naturopathic
Medicine, and Homeopathy. She combines all these types of medicines
to assist her in understanding the symptoms that are being expressed
by the body before implementing a treatment plan. Dr. Diehn is a
Kansas native and received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Business
from Emporia State University, in 1993. She received her Doctorate
in Naturopathic Medicine from Southwest
College of Naturopathic Medicine and Health Sciences (SCNM),
a Nationally Accredited Naturopathic Medical School in Phoenix,
Arizona, in 2003. Dr. Diehn also did an internship with Dr. Peter
D'Adamo, N.D., author of the series of books on Eat Right 4 Your
Blood Type. She received her Certification as an ABO Blood Type
Practitioner, in 2003. She is a member of the American
Association of Naturopathic Physicians (AANP) and the Oncology
Association of Naturopathic Physicians (OncANP). She is registered
with the Kansas State Board of Healing Arts as the tenth Naturopathic
Doctor in Kansas. She also holds the first Naturopathic Acupuncture
Certificate for the State of Kansas based on a Specialty Certification
in Acupuncture.
Dr. Diehn specializes in the prevention and treatment
of chronic disease utilizing Natural Medicines. She uses Clinical
Nutrition, Lab Assessment and Evaluation, Diet and Lifestyle Therapies,
Homeopathy, Acupuncture, and Detoxification and Relaxation Therapies
to help her patients achieve wellness. She utilizes her knowledge
in Oriental Medicine and Acupuncture to promote health and well
being, alleviate chronic pain issues, as well as assist her cancer
patients undergoing chemotherapy. Her passion lies in trying to
find the underlying cause of a health issue, then bringing the body
back into balance. She also specializes in correcting immune dysfunction
in cancer patients and other chronic disease states.
Dr. Diehn lectures on "Cancer and Nutrition"
and "Natural Approaches for the Prevention and Complementary
Treatment of Breast Cancer" for the American Cancer Society.
She is a Corporate Consultant for Integrative Health Care Programs
and lectures on Naturopathic Therapies as a part of an Integrative
Wellness Program. She offers a Speakers Bureau through her practice and is the originator of Support, Enrich, and Nourish (SEN) Programs to teach people a better way to have peaceful longevity. She publishes an e-newsletter each quarter presenting findings from her latest research
and her personal philosphy on why people get sick.
Dr. Mark D. Green, NMD
Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine
Dr. Mark D. Green, N.M.D., received his Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from Southwest
College of Naturopathic Medicine and Health Sciences (SCNM), located in Phoenix, AZ. Graduating from a Nationally Accredited four year program in Naturopathic Medicine, Dr. Green currently treats patients utilizing an integrative approach, combining both natural and holistic therapies with modern diagnostics and laboratory testing.
Originally a native of Oklahoma, Dr. Green graduated from Oklahoma State University with a Master of Science in Sociology with special emphasis in social psychology and an interest in medical sociology.
He has worked extensively with chronic infections including Candidiasis, Hepatitis C and HIV, as well as other related immune disorders such as auto-immune diseases, chronic fatigue and fibromyalgia. Dr. Green has also served as adjunct faculty for Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine, overseeing and teaching naturopathic students in clinical training.
Dr. Green currently utilizes a variety of therapies to address his patient’s health concerns. He has an extensive background in the use of acupuncture for the treatment of pain and special training in acupuncture facial rejuvenation techniques. He also uses homeopathic medicine to successfully treat numerous difficult conditions.

Chief Financial Officer
Bryan Diehn partners with his wife, Dr. Diehn,
on a daily basis, in this practice, as well as at home. He leads
the financial growth of this facility, so that we can continue to
offer more efficient and effective technologies, equipment, and
natural therapies that will further enhance the health and well
being of our patients. Bryan carries a deep passion for Naturopathic Medicine and donates his time educating consumers on health care
options.
Sabrina Decker
Patient Services
Sabrina is currently attending Johnson County Community College. There she has received her Certified Nurses Aid and Certified Medication Aid certifications. She is currently working on her LPN certification and will go on to get her RN certification after that. She has a passion for Naturopathic Medicine. She loves having the opportunity to help people achieve health and happiness. “I love the feeling that I have helped make a difference in someone’s life. It is why I love my job.” Sabrina enjoys spending her free time outdoors. She loves going to the lake and horseback riding.
Julia Gutkin
Patient Services
Julia Gutkin joins our team in hopes of furthering her knowledge of Naturopathic Medicine. She is currently a second year undergraduate student at the University of Kansas majoring in Microbiology. Her goal is to enter medical school and become a doctor; however, she has not decided whether she would like to pursue Naturopathic or Allopathic Medicine. Julia has always been interested in Natural Medicine and hopes that her time spent with us will provide her with an in-depth look into Natural Healing.
Joan
Schmeltz, NCTMB
Massage Therapist
Joan graduated from Body,
Mind, Spirit Integration (BMSI), and is a seasoned practitioner
of integrated massage therapies. As an experienced practitioner
in Pain and Stress Therapies, she incorporates her vast training
in Swedish Massage, Chapman's Reflexes (Reflexive Lymphatic Drainage),
Manual Lymphatic Techniques, Mayan Abdominal Massage, Myofascial Release, Stretching, Touch
for Health Kinesiology, Reiki, Introduction to Attunement and training
in Orthobionomy. Working with persons of all ages, Joan understands
that health issues are directly related to your stress levels and
past experiences. The muscles remember past traumas and by helping
those memories to clear, the body then has more space to begin a
journey that leads to good health. She enjoys teaching self-help
techniques to assist clients with health maintenance. She is a firm
participant of continuing education and partners with Dr. Diehn
on many patients/clients for further integration of wellness therapies.
