The
Arvigo Techniques of Maya Abdominal Massage for the reproductive
and digestive systems is an external, non invasive manipulation
to guide reproductive organs into their proper position and improve
the blood flow to the digestive organs. The uterus may have shifted
or the prostate may have swollen, potentially restricting the flow
of blood, lymph, nerve impulses, and chi. This can cause most of
the common female and male reproductive oriented issues, as well
as a host of seemingly unrelated aliments, including digestive complaints.
Abdominal massage
of this type is a therapeutic treatment that has been known and
practiced by healers for thousands of years but forgotten in this
century. So often, modern medicine tends to focus on relieving symptoms,
rather than the causes of disease. But these ancient techniques treat
the primary causes of female and male complaints, thereby preventing
the progression of symptoms to chronic disease and allowing the body
to use its inherent ability to self-heal.
These massage techniques were developed by Dr.
Rosita Arvigo who has lived in Central America for over 30 years
where she apprenticed with Don Elijio Panti, the last of the traditional
Maya healers. She combines her knowledge of traditional healing, science,
herb therapy, and wisdom to produce a holistic path to physical, emotional,
and spiritual health.
